When I first read this on the Forgotten Children's Fund website (forgottenchildrensfund.org) I have to admit I thought it was a bit cheesy. I continued reading and discovered that this was the actual letter that started their organization! If you, like me, thought it was an over the top, let's-make-them-feel-guilty speech, read it again with the knowledge that it's for real...wowza!

FCF provides great Christmas gifts for the kids they sponsor. All of the kids get a new winter coat, a bike, three toys, blankets, and other great stuff. They get all of this stuff donated to them, put it all in a warehouse, and volunteers come to help! They get a kid to "shop" for, and they find the toys and clothes for their kid and wrap them up. I just emailed them to ask what we could do to help. I'll probably only end up taking a few kids, so if you are interested, talk to me soon!
